I went to Ringling School of Art in Sarasota FL '78 to '81 majoring in graphic design & Illustration. Afterwards I was self employed as a graphic designer for 20 years. By 1999 I was really getting into painting and soon became a frequent participant in art festivals (where I met my lovely wife).

 

My painting style has gone through several phases in the last two decades. Love for nature & realism is where it began, but I also enjoy painting things I create from my imagination often with a little twist of humor.

 

In 2015 we relocated from the east coast of Florida to the west side of FL in the rolling hills outside Dade City (45 mins north of Tampa). In 2018 my wife Lee (a talented artist) and I opened our Art Gallery in downtown Dade City; Out Of Our Hands Gallery. There we show our work as well as works by 25 other artists in various styles and mediums.
